The 17th European Drosophila Neurobiology Conference - Neurofly 2018 was held in Krakow, Poland from 3-7 September 2018. The conference was organised in the city centre at the Jagiellonian University, one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1364. Besides the University, the main organiser was the Copernicus Society of Naturalists, a society over 140 years old and one of the oldest scientific societies in Poland. One of the special guests who came to the conference was a Nobel Prize winner in medicine.
