On October 8-9, 2019, another edition of the Krakow Medical Tourism Congress took place. The event gathered nearly 200 participants, from Poland and abroad, mainly representatives of the medical and tourist industry at the managerial and managerial levels. The main idea was to present the elements of the support system for medical facilities in the development of medical tourism, which is on the one hand an investment, but also a comprehensive area, the expansion of which is related to many various activities. The talks of specialists also focused on new technologies that are used in the development of medical tourism, among others in gynecology, orthopedics, oncology, and telecare.
The project was noticed and appreciated especially by the Polish Association of Private Hospitals, which was reflected in a letter addressed to the President of the City of Krakow in thanks to, inter alia, for the consistent continuation of the project.
