The 8th edition of the Central European Congress of Life Science, EUROBIOTECH, took place at the EXPO Krakow international trade fair and congress centre on 20-22 June 2022.

The themes of the 8th edition of the congress were:
- stem cells,
- gene therapy,
- the announcement of the first research results on covid-19 by the Małopolska Biotechnology Centre.

which were intended to show that science in Małopolska stands at the highest level and on a global scale. As you can see, eminent scientists responded to our invitation, which we hope to welcome to Krakow in June, along with many previous and new guests. Plenary lectures during the congress have agreed to be delivered by:

- Alicja Józkowicz
- Markus Ruegg
- Serena Zacchigna
- Piotr Trzonkowski

As every year, the event was accompanied by an exhibition of industry companies, which for the first time was open not only to conference participants, but to all those interested in the development of biotechnology in Poland and Central Europe as a whole.
